There’s A Hole In Your Head

September 29, 2012

Extremely Lame Customer: Uh, I think there’s a hole in my glass because my beers all gone. So I get a free one right? Am I right? HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Server: HAHAHA!! HAHAHA!! HAHAHAHA!! HAHAHAHA!!  Get out of here.

If I could put a shock collar on the people that say this to me, my thumbs would be sore from overly clicking the button.

What was the age of the person who made the joke…. Sounds like something my Dad would say…hehehehehe. 😉

    • Its usually middle aged and up. Its really not a bad thing. People are just trying to have fun. Its just a repetitive thing. Its kind of like junk mail. Getting that same coupon in the mail to have your carpets cleaned. Nobody really wants that.

  2. Yeah my dad too! and he thinks he is hysterical…sorry 😦

    • Haha. Yeah, now that I think about it, it might just be a dad thing. I’ll have to pay more attention next time.

We have one of those Easy Buttons from Staples. Doesn’t make anything easy but we smash it for a laugh after successfully dealing with something, or someone, difficult-since shock collars are not practical (however tempting they may be).

  5. Tempting for sure 🙂

  6. This used to happen to me all the time when I was working as a cahier; when the barcode on an item wouldn’t scan properly, customers always said “oh, it must be free, then! haha!”.
You are right, people are trying to be nice and friendly when they say stuff like that, but when it it the 10,000th time you have heard it you feel rather murderous…

  7. Awful. Just, awful.

ppl like this.. lame.. not funny.. my smile quickly fades as I turn away and leave the table..

  9. As a fellow server atm in my so called reality…this blog is hilarious. I have told fellow co-workers so many times that we seriously need to write down all the random oddities & usual “kill me now” (associated with eye roll) scenario’s that are in the mental filing cabinet labeled “Waitress Tales from the Crypt.” How do people not know how obnoxious they can be by now?? haha!
