How Do I Use My Eyes?

July 28, 2012

Customer:  Do you have chicken? Do you have any soup? Do you have salads?

Server:  Do you have a menu?

Definition of MENU: a list of the dishes that may be ordered or that are to be served.

Open your eyes!!! Read the menu first, and then ask questions. This is another instance in which I wish I had a trap door button to push.

Going out to a restaurant will never be the same after reading your blog. :o)

  4. This is SO FRIGGIN TRUE!
Working in a restaurant for over a year, this happened weekly. How do they end up walking into a restaurant, say one that’s tailored around salads, and ask if we serve salads?! Some people are impossible…

  5. People are as usual just lazy… Crazy to expect them to read on their free-time =)
